A Latin American-Jewish Fusion Experience

Prepare to embark on a unique and mouthwatering journey as we explore the fascinating combination of Kosher and Latin American cuisines!

​This edition of Dine Latino Chef's Tastings welcomes author,
​Ronit Treatman, and artist, Liliana Ines Friesel Elkouss, who will feature empanadas and borrecas together with other classics. 
Imagine the rich flavors of Latin America infused with the traditional elements of Kosher cooking, resulting in an explosion of tastes that will leave you in awe! During the event, Ronit and Liliana will be sharing their stories behind their creations and how they expertly bring together two seemingly distinct culinary worlds.

​Ronit is multilingual and multicultural - She speaks Spanish and Hebrew. She has lived in Israel, Ethiopia, Venezuela and the US. She is a writer on Jewish identity and food, and has done book tours in Latin America with her latest book Hands on Jewish Holidays. She has been featured with cooking segments on ABC recently for the Jewish holidays.​

Friesel Elkouss
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, there she studied art at the National Schools of Fine Arts Manuel Belgrano, Prilidiano Pueyrredon, and Ernesto de la Carcova.—She also studied at Temple University and Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, USA, graduating with honors at all schools. A recognized artist by the Ministry of Culture of Argentina, she counts approximately fifty solo exhibits and one hundred and fifty collective shows in the Americas, China & Europe.

​Whether you're a food enthusiast, a curious adventurer of flavors, or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience, this Chef's Tasting Event is not to be missed!
