The Líderes Internship Program at the GPHCC places motivated college and graduate students inside one of Philadelphia's most dynamic civic and business organizations — where the work is real, the mission matters, and the connections last.
Program Details:
Format: Internship format varies by role. Most positions are hybrid, with a mix of remote work and in-person time at GPHCC's Philadelphia office. Some roles may be offered fully remote depending on the nature of the work. The Video Production intern is expected to attend GPHCC events in person. Specific format details are noted in each position listing on Handshake.
Compensation: All positions are offered for academic credit. Interns are responsible for arranging credit through their home institution prior to the start of the semester.
Duration: One semester — Fall (September through December) or Spring (January through May). Continuation across both semesters is available and encouraged for select roles.
Available Positions: Various internships are offered each semester across Communications and Storytelling, Public Policy Research, Business Development and Sponsorship, Graphic Design, Video Production, Member Research and Survey, and Program Outcomes and Impact.
Application: All candidates apply through Handshake. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. One video interview. Decisions within two weeks of the interview.

What Is the Líderes Internship Program?
The Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has launched the Líderes Internship Program to invest in the next generation of professionals — and to expand the capacity of an organization that serves thousands of Hispanic business owners across the region. Each semester, GPHCC welcomes a cohort of seven interns across functional areas that reflect the full scope of the organization's work: communications, policy advocacy, corporate partnerships, design, video production, member research, and program impact measurement.
Líderes interns are not observers. They contribute to real projects, work alongside experienced staff, and leave with a portfolio, a professional network, and a direct understanding of what it takes to lead a mission-driven organization in a major American city.
