The Office of Worker Protections will be presenting on the basics of Philadelphia's wage theft and sick leave laws. Our wage theft law covers requirements for wage payments, promised benefits, pay deductions, and earned tips. Our sick leave law requires eligible employees to accrue sick time. Both laws cover all workplaces in the city of Philadelphia. Our presentation will cover the legal requirements for these laws and our compliance assistance resources.
