The Dine Latino initiative was created to support Latino-Owned restaurants during the pandemic. The initiative provided technical assistance via webinar to restaurant owners and a dedicated promotional campaign Latino Takeout Weekend prompted diners to order takeout from their favorite Latino-Owned eatery.

La iniciativa brindó asistencia técnica a los dueños de restaurantes y una campaña promocional dedicada, Latino Takeout Weekend, incitó a los comensales a pedir comida para llevar en su restaurante latino favorito.

In 2023, Dine Latino Restaurant Week achieved 275 million social media impressions
and 120 print, digital, broadcast and radio stories.
Dine Latino Restaurant Week is a promotional campaign, now in its sixth installment, that seeks to boost the revenue of Latino-Owned restaurants by promoting the availability of dining options at Latino-Owned restaurants of any cuisine. The spotlight is reserved for independent and local eateries owned by Latinos. We also seek to showcase the diversity of flavors available beyond Latin cuisine.
GPHCC develops a focused marketing push around the event leveraging relationships with sponsors and local organizations to get the word out. The participation of award-winning restaurants and chefs has brought notoriety to Dine Latino Restaurant Week. In 2022, we have achieved 275 million social media impressions and 120 print, digital, broadcast and radio stories.
The Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GPHCC) invites Latino-owned restaurants in Greater Philadelphia to participate in Dine Latino Restaurant Week. The initiative is free for eligible restaurants and no chamber membership is required to participate.
