Overview
Established in 1990, the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GPHCC) is a not-for-profit organization devoted to promoting the advancement and economic growth of Hispanic businesses and professionals in the greater Philadelphia region. We accomplish this through educational programs, and a broad range of services and special events. The GPHCC proactively serves a diverse membership—consisting of entrepreneurs, Latino businesses, Latino professionals, corporations and government—with the overriding goal of helping these critical constituencies capitalize on the many opportunities their diversity, enhanced by our Latino multicultural mix, offers.

To increase the number of Latino Owned Businesses (LOBs) reaching $1 million is revenue and to increase the number of LOBs engaged in the supply chain.

EDUCATE
Help entrepreneurs develop skills through programs that address business fundamentals and practices in a culturally competent and accessible environment.
CAPITALIZE
Increase access to the continuum of capital for LOBs, including non-traditional sources, grants, venture, seed, etc.
STRENGTHEN
Help LOBs adopt best practices, guided by business plans, technical assistance, and back-office operations that will help businesses scale.
PROMOTE
Elevate the profile of Latinos in the economy by raising awareness of industry clusters where LOBs concentrate. Highlight contributions of Latinos in the economy.
ADVOCATE
Support a business-friendly environment that fosters LOB growth by participating in public and corporate policy. Advocate for supplier diversity, friendly business environment, and access to resources and capital for Latinx entrepreneurs.
NETWORK
Build social capital and a strong ecosystem that will support LOBs. Build channels for specific industry sectors and increase the influence and visibility of GPHCC externally.
