MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT

Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce: Code of Conduct

By becoming a member of GPHCC, you agree to adhere to this policy. The code of conduct serves as a guiding framework that outlines the ethical principles and standards expected from each member. By adhering to these guidelines, we not only uphold the reputation of our chamber but also foster a culture of integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect within our business community.

One of the key benefits we offer to our members is access to the members' directory. Rest assured that we handle this resource with care and responsibility by refraining from sharing it with unauthorized parties. When members are given referrals, we encourage the use of formal introductions via email or other means. This not only verifies the legitimacy of the referral but also ensures that it doesn't come across as an aggressive sales tactic, thereby enhancing the overall networking experience for everyone involved.

  • Ethical Behavior: Upholding integrity and honesty in all business dealings.
  • Respect and Professionalism: Treating others with respect and fostering a positive business environment.
  • Compliance with Laws: Adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Fair Competition: Engaging in fair and ethical competition practices.
  • Confidentiality: Respecting the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the chamber.
  • Conflict of Interest: Disclosing and managing conflicts of interest appropriately.
  • Collaboration and Networking: Encouraging collaboration and networking opportunities among members.
  • Social Responsibility: Contributing positively to society through responsible business practices.
  • Continuous Learning: Committing to ongoing learning and professional development.
